Audio :
I made up a poem based on what I saw during a day of shopping in Hackney, for example I went to a clothes shop where a designer had re-cut old clothes and designed them into a brand new dress, then I put it in my poem.
Creative writing :
Inspired by a set of films I had watched earlier on the theme of friends, I designed a set of 2 characters with such different but similar personalities
Character Description:
Emily
As a young girl, Anson is a loose, unpathetic and self-centered girl. She does not play by the rules and challenges authority. In fact, she is vulnerable and unsure of herself, afraid of rejection and dislike, always trying to be noticed and liked, but completely unable to protect herself. At the age of 26, she has finally become a little more mature and strong, and has grown in self-confidence, but has always remained innocent at heart.
Amber
As a young girl, July was a quiet, well-behaved and peaceful girl. The little girl. The eternal honor student. In fact, there is a very rebellious side to her, which she suppresses in order to meet the expectations of others. She compensates by having a “happiness” plan for each stage of her life, and as long as these expectations are met according to her book, life is tolerable. 80% of the time she uses her head to treat people and fall in love, so although she looks soft, she is not too hurt.
Video script :
Shoot it differently from last time
This time, I wanted to capture a cinematic feel of the past
Use Fujifilm for the filters
Quiet and healing music
Shooting time: 12:00-16:00
Address: Hackney Flea Market
- used a ccd camera to record a storytelling expression (close up)
- The view and sound of the water flowing (far shot)
- a picture of an animal or object moving (close-up)
- shot of the main street of hackney Flea Market (panorama)
- Photographing passers-by and small shops on the street (medium shot, close-up)
Web design :
Given that Hackney is a community, my homepage will be designed with the idea that users will prefer a cleaner layout, so I have chosen a page that is not overly decorated.
Creative asset valuation
Audio:
I didn’t feel creative with my Audio production, even though I made up a poem that was probably good in that it created a bit of a connection with Hackney.
Creative writing:
My creative writing is more clearly articulated than last time, and my characterisation stands out more sharply. The bad thing is that it doesn’t seem to have any connection to Hackney, I just added a Hackney location to the article.
Vedio:
This time I created a completely different style from last time, I wanted to create a cinematic feel of the years; this time I also added a Fuji film style filter; I learned to shoot the video with a ccd camera and also learned to push the objects close up for editing. But what I don’t feel good about it is that the song is not quite right at the end and the ending is too rushed
Web design:
My entire web design revolves around my video style, including well-designed small logos for the web. I tend to use a retro, harmonious style to create my personal blog page, Hackney is more like a livable, calm community compared to other central areas of London which often have the busy impression of a big city. I want people who click on this blog to feel the nostalgia I experience when I visit Hackney, and perceive the goodness of life in these recorded pieces of everyday life.
summary:
I still have a lot to improve and enhance, I need to relate my work better to the theme and make my work look more interesting and logical. I need to get into the habit of self-study after school and learn to use these media software better. Before each assignment my mind should be generating ideas about the assignment and how to tie them in better with the theme.
